PURPOSE:To heighten mass-productivity by providing an Oldham coupling for keeping the relative position relationship between fixed and pivotal scrolls assembled to each other, which is formed by fixing a plurality of finger members to a circular plate member by caulking using a caulking pin. CONSTITUTION:A scroll compressor comprises fixed and pivotal scrolls 1, 2 which are assembled to each other and provided with scroll teeth 49, 53 having whirlpools of the same shape like an involute different in the spiral direction on opposite surfaces thereof. The pivotal scroll 2 has an Oldham guide groove 56 on the back thereof, which is positioned opposite to each other on the diameter line, and an Oldham coupling 34 can be fitted in the groove 56. In this case, the Oldham coupling 34 is formed by manufacturing a thin circular member 91 and fitting fingers 92, 92 separately, and the fingers 92, 92 are caulked and fixed to the circular plate member 91 using a caulking pin 93. This arrangement can accomplish manufacturing simply and with high accuracy and improve mass- productivity. |
