PURPOSE:To execute a connection having a strong and stable quality by executing a seaming joint of a plate material on which a shallow stepped hollow cylindrical part is formed, and a pipe-shaped material on which a hollow cylindrical shape corresponding to said part is formed in its tip part. CONSTITUTION:A plate material 1 is blanked and drawn to form a stepped hollow cylindrical part 3. A tip part of a pipe-shaped member 2 is drawn so as to be fitted to the hollow cylindrical part 3 of the plate material 1. The pipe- shaped member 2 fitted to a die 7 is fixed concentrically to a bolster holder 8, and the plate material 1 is set. A punch 9 is depressed, the tip part of the pipe- shaped material 2 is pushed and opened to the outside, and a flare 10 of the pipe material 2 is folded and formed along the end part of the cylindrical part 3 of the plate material 1 by the second punch and the die 7. Subsequently, the end part folded by the third punch working is formed in the shape of a flare, and when the end part is worked until it becomes flat, as for a connecting part, a connection having a sufficient strength and a stable quality is executed, and the cost can be reduced. |
