PURPOSE:To attain low current operation by using a switching diode added with a breeder resistor for reverse bias in a frequency shift circuit of a voltage controlled oscillator so as to decrease leakage of a high frequency signal at switch- off. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage is applied to a switching input terminal 19, the switching diode 15 is switched on, a shift capacitor 14 connected to an inner conductor of an open end of a dielectric coaxial resonator 10 is grounded via a bypass capacitor 16 so as to allow the dielectric coaxial resonator 10 to be added with the shift capacitor 14, causing the resonance frequency to be shifted and the oscillating frequency to be shifted. When the switch is turned off, a voltage divided by reverse bias breeder resistors 11, 12 is applied to the switching diode 15 as a reverse bias and the shift capacitor 14 is not added to the dielectric coaxial resonator 10. |
