<p>The hatch mechanism opens in a concertina fashion and first, second and third section hinging together under the action of hydraulic rams. The leading pair (3) of folding sections (5,6) are joined at the outside of the second section by two or more upper hinges (12), where there are rams (14) on left and right. The rams are coupled to supporting links below the hinges. Each link can be a set of double wheels, with which the hinge is combined into a unit.</p> |
