PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer mold of high accuracy by producing a silicone rubber mold with transfer of the disk surface from a glass master disk and casting the transparent liquid resin into said rubber mold by casting method. CONSTITUTION:The silicone rubber is casted into a mold of a glass master disk 1 and hardened. This casting is carried out under vacuum in order to delete air bubbles and to improve the transfer accuracy on the groove surface. A metallic plate is lined to the opposite side to the transfer surface for reinforcement of the mold. A silicone rubber mold lined with a metallic plate is obtained by casting. In this case, the silicone rubber is casted between the disk 1 and said processed metallic plate 2 for lining as shown by figure (b). Then a silicone rubber mold 3 lined with a metallic plate is taken out after the silicone rubber is hardened as shown by figure (c). Then transparent liquid resin is casted under vacuum into a mold made of the mold 3 and the glass 4 having high planar accuracy as shown by figure (d). The liquid resin is hardened. Then a molded plastic substrate 5 having grooves is taken out of the mold as shown by figure (e). |
