PURPOSE:To prevent data from being damaged even by erroneous operation by detecting the action of an operational lever by the action of tip of a cam-shaped stopper at a detector and shutting off a data writing circuit by considering that the eject operation is started by the detection signal. CONSTITUTION:After inserting a disk 9 into a floppy disk drive, an operational lever 15 rotates one-fourth turn, and the disk 9 is set to the floppy disk drive (hereinafter called a drive). When the drive 9 is set to the drive, a slide plate 16 is shifted to the state as shown in the figure by a protective cover 17 incorporating the disk 9. By one-fourth turn of the operational lever 15, a B part of a cam 23 which is directly connected to a shaft 22 of the operational lever 15 rotates, thereby lowering a collet 24. When the disk 9 is taken out, the operational lever 15 rotates reversely one-fourth turn. |
