PURPOSE:To attain remote control of a lighting equipment or an airconditioner or the like by utilizing effectively the existing connecting operation of private automatic branch exchange. CONSTITUTION:When the operator makes a dial from a nearby pushphone telephone set STA.A, a private exchange branch PABX connects the pushphone telephone set STA.A and an instrument power supply controller SW.CON through the known local connection to transmit a call signal. When the controller SW. CON receives the said call signal for a prescribed time with the operation of an automatic response device ANS, the controller is subjected to ring trip and transmits a response signal such as a tone to the pushphone telephone set STA. A. Then the operator dials a number (code) corresponding to an electric device desired to be controlled and an on/off designation code of power supply by the pushphone dial. This code is analyzed by a pushphone signal analyzer PAN and a prescribed electronic switch ESW is driven. |
