PURPOSE:A recording medium liquid extrusible continuouly for a long time without causing nozzle clogging, comprising a recording agent, a liquid medium, and trishydroxymethylnitromethane. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium liquid comprising (A) 100 parts by wt. of a recording medium of (a) a recording agent for forming images and (b) a liquid medium for dissolving the agent and (B) 0.001-10 parts by wt., preferably 0.01- 5 parts by wt., of trishydroxymethylnitromethane. 100 parts by wt. of the liquid medium preferably comprises 10-70 parts by wt. of water, 20-50 parts by wt. of a polyhydric alcohol, and 70 parts by wt. or less of an organic water-miscible solvent. The medium liquid preferably has a viscosity <= 10cP, and a surface tension of 35-65dyne/cm. EFFECT:Images having a sharp contrast and improved light and water resistance. |
