PURPOSE:To enable to shorten the length of a magnetic plate and to equalize the contacting pressure of the magnetic plate on a magnetic field generating surface by attracting the plate to an electromagnet over the entire length. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic plate 25 is constructed of the first magnetic plate 26 and the second magnetic plate 27. The first plate 26 is formed in an L-shape having a free end on one end on the carriage feeding direction, and this portion is fixed by screw 28 to a carriage 24. The second plate 27 is integrated so that the most is superposed at the free end of the plate 26. The second plate 27 moves relatively to the magnetic field generating surface of an electromagnet 34 when the carriage is moved. |
