The invention relates to an arrangement for a wind-power- driven piston compressor for compressible media, such as a gas. So as to facilitate the starting torque of the compressor during the movement of the reciprocating piston 21, 22, the piston 21, 22 is hollow and divided into a lower part 22 which seals against the cylinder wall 4 and an upper part 21 fixed to the piston rod 10, these two parts being detachably joined together and the upper piston part 21 having a central hole for passage of a valve spindle 35, the valve body 13 of which is located between the upper surface of the upper piston part and the lower surface of the top cover 34, the top cover having recesses for the valve body and the free end of the spindle being provided with a stop 20, the position of which can be adjusted to reduce the initial inertia of the piston. <IMAGE> |
