In a telephone installation jack and plug units (1, 20) are used. The jack unit contains a control terminal (5) for the plug unit as well as a greater number of contact plates which work together with the contact device in the plug unit. In addition, two pairs of contact plates are arranged in order to execute the breaker functions (13, 14). The contact plate is fixed with holding parts (3a1) at the edge areas of the jack unit, seen in a horizontal section. The contact plate's contact element extends itself toward a central outlet set up in the jack unit, in which the given breaker functions are set up. The contact plate is held down with the help of a lid belonging to the jack unit which is designed to be snapped onto the frame of the unit.<IMAGE> |
