PURPOSE:To reduce the starting current by coupling the windings in a delta-connection and regulating the power and speed via a triac. CONSTITUTION:One lead terminals U, V, W of a 3-phase induction motor are connected directly to a power source terminal and other leading-out terminals Z, X, Y are connected through triacs to the terminal. Then, the triacs are controlled to regulate the power and speed. |
