PURPOSE:To confirm also a fine difference of a terminal treatment part and to improve testing accuracy sharply by photographing the terminal treatment part of an electric wire by a television camera, expanding its video and scanning the expanded video by a hue sensor. CONSTITUTION:When one of wire holding tools 3 stops on a test station 4, a terminal press-contacting part of the wire W enters a photographing area of a TV camera 6 and the photographed terminal press-contacting part is expanded and displayed on a video surface 8a with colors. Simultaneously, preparatory scanning is executed to find out the center axis of the wire W. A control means 19 commands real scanning to an X-Y table 7 and the hue sensor 12a scans the wire W from a position Ps to a position Pe along the center axis of the wire W and transmits sequential positional information and hue information to an information input analyzing circuit 21. The analyzing circuit 21 executes operation on the basis of these information and transmits the length and hue changing information to a legality discriminating circuit 22. The circuit 22 discriminates legality/illegality on the basis of these information and outputs a prescribed signal. Thus, a fine difference can be also confirmed and the accuracy can be sharply improved. |
