PURPOSE:To obtain a photo-electric apparatus to be used as a photo-detector used in the intensified magnetic field and a detector for capturing a high speed optical phenomenon by forming a photo-electric surface by vacuum deposition and activation of photo-electric surface material and then placing the anode movably supported in the vacuum reservior nearer to said photo-electric surface. CONSTITUTION:A sealed tube 11a which accommodates antimony source 23 and a sealed tube 11 which accommodates alkali metal source 5 are provided at the side surface of glass container having the light entrance surface 13 to which a photo-electric surface is formed, and the sealed tube 11b is further connected with an exhaustion tube 12. A bar type electrode lead 25 is fixed to the lower center of the metal disk type anode 2 which forms the photoelectron capturing electrode and the spacers 20 made of insulator are provided to the upper surface of said metal disk type anode 2. First, vacuum deposition is carried out repeatedly by the antimony source 23 and the alkali metal source 24 until the predetermined photo-electric surface is obtained. Then, the antimony source 23 and alkali metal source 24 are moved into the sealed tubes 11a, 11b so as not to be not left within the glass container. Thereafter, the container is fallen and an impact is given to the container in order to separate the electrode lead 25 from the support spring 28. Moreover, the assembly of anode 2 and electrode lead 25 is shifted toward the photo-electric surface 1 with the gravity. Thereby, a spring plate 18 at the circumference of disk type anode 2 is engaged with the pawl part of support metal 14 of container. |
