PURPOSE:To always maintain a roughly constant fixing property by controlling automatically a light emitting energy of a flash lamp by a temperature signal related to a fixing surface. CONSTITUTION:A back plate 5 is heated quickly by stopping a cooling of the plate 5 and turning on and off continuously a flash lamp 1 by a lower energy than usual. When the plate 5 is heated to a fixable temperature, an NOT- READY signal of a temperature controller is changed to an READY signal by a detecting signal of a thermistor 6, a power source input of a flash power source device is switched, and a continuous flash stops. Also, a stop of a pack plate cooling fan is released, and it becomes a preparation completion state. In this way, copying is executed in the preparation completion state after the READY signal has been outputted. |
