In hollow blanks for the manufacture of seamless tubes, the descaling agent is introduced as a mixture in the dry or liquid form by means of a compressed gas in circular motion at one end into the interior of the blank and discharged at the other end thereof by removing the residual mixture advancing spirally on the inner wall by suction.
