PURPOSE:To enhance the product quality of a strip by driving an endless belt in synchronization with the speed of strip. CONSTITUTION:A strip S is placed in contact with an endless belt 7 on a strip path, which is formed by connecting Points P1, P2 and P3, and the speed of said endless belt 7 is controlled by a speed controller so as to travel in synchronization with the speed of moving strip S. Accordingly the traveling direction of the strip is changed while supported on the surface of smooth endless belt 7, so that production of flaws, wrinkles and/or pressure dints on the surface of the strip S can be eliminated to ensure an enhanced quality for the products. |
