PURPOSE:To automatically store an article by disposing an article detecting sensor, a rack position detecting sensor and a pusher on a placing table capable of freely moving up and down in a multistage storing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When an article is carried in a placing table 3, a sensor S1 outputs an entry receiving signal, and an elevator is driven according to a specified program to move to a designated rack. When a sensor S2 detects the designated rack, a conveying belt is driven and a sensor S3 detects the existence of the received article in the rack. If not, a pusher is driven to store the article. If yes, according to the order, the elevator is moved to the next rack. In this arrangement, storing operation can be automatically performed. |
