PURPOSE:To obtain compression molding stock with excellent moldability by a structure wherein long fibers with matrix of thermosetting resin are arranged on the outer peripheral surface, inner peripheral surface, bottom surface and the like of a section such as of bottomed circular cylinder, circular prism or the like formed tack-free of thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:Stock 2 consists of a bottomed cylindrical short fiber containing part 4a, the interior of which is made of matrix of plastic formed in semisolid state, and high fibel density fiber layers 4b and 4c, which are impregnated with resin and composed of long fiber cylindrical-knitted fabric 1, bag-shape long fiber circular-knitted fabric 2 and the like with the matrix of resin having the quality same as that of said plastic and arranged on the outer and inner peripheries of the short fiber containing part 2a. Stock 2 consists in covering a short fiber containing part 4a. stock 5 consists in covering a short fiber containing part 5, the interior of which is made of plastic formed in semisolid state and in the form of circular prism, angular prism or the like, by a high fiber density layer 5b, which is impregnated with resin and composed of long fiber cylindrical- knitted fabric 1, bag-shape long fiber circular-knitted fabric 2 and the like with the matrix of resin having the quality same as that of said plastic. |
