PURPOSE:To attain the automatic merger into an original loop by switching own loop to a relay mode and merging the right and left loops into a loop when the approximate circulation of a circuit code is detected with both two loops which are folded at own loop by means of a terminal mode post. CONSTITUTION:When a circuit between posts 3-6 and 3-3 is disconnected, the 1st tapping signal is delivered from the post 3-3 together with the 2nd tapping signal delivered from a post 3-4. While the post 3-6 delivers a carrier signal. Then each post is shifted to a terminal mode. A small loop is formed only with detective sections and set under a tapping waiting mode for recovery. The other sections are divided into three nondefective small loops, and a circuit code starts its circulation. Then the post 3-3 detects the dropout of the circuit code and shifts the own loop to a terminal mode. Thus the nondefective and defective loops are formed at the right and left sides centering on the own loop. When the post 3-3 detects the approximate circulation of the circuit code, the own loop is switched to a relay mode. Then the right and left loops are merged into a loop. |
