PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable liquid crystal display device prevented from electrolytic corrosion by embedding the leading end of a flexible cable outputted from a liquid crystal driving circuit in a sealing material and contacting its conductive body conductively with a connecting electrode part. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal device has transparent substrates 11, 12 and these substrates 11, 12 are adhered with a sealing member 14 such as epoxy resin so as to generate a hollow part 13 between the substrates 11, 12. The connecting electrode part 16 penetrated from the hollow part 13 into the sealing material 14 and exposed to the outside is formed on one substrate 12. The connecting electrode part 16 is connected with circuit substrates 23, 24 having ICs 21, 22 for driving circuits through the flexible cable 26. |
