<p>PURPOSE:To enable handling of many kinds of case by separating, one by one, articles transferred by a surface unit holding device to be distributed to a lot of inclined case flow racks and sending same to a picking device in the automatic storing/delivering apparatus of a large-sized warehouse. CONSTITUTION:According to a command of a computer control chamber 8, a pallet is delivered to a surface unit holding device 14 by a traverser 12 and a conveyer 13 and transferred by the surface unit through a surface catching conveyer 17 and a surface unit feed conveyer 18 to a ran separation conveyer 19 to be in standby. Loads arranged in one rank are turned 22 to a different direction one by one by a rank feed conveyer 20 and a separation conveyer 21, and further the direction of the loads is adjusted by a turn device 23. Subsequently, the loads are switched to a case flow rack 29 and a depalletizing carry-out conveyer 33 by a diverging device 25. In this arrangement, many kinds of case can be automatically picked up to reduce the area occupied by a case flow rack.</p> |
