PURPOSE:To inspect the titled hanger automatically, accurately and rapidly, by interposing a detection terminal between elastic pawls for grasping an article to be plated of said hanger of an printed base board for an electronic circuit to supply a current. CONSTITUTION:A plating hanger 1 having elastic pawls 6, 7 for grasping an article to be plated arranged to the outer periphery thereof is rotated at a low speed around the axial line thereof by a transfer mechanism 10 in an empty state. When the columnar rack 4 of the hanger 1 comes in front of a clamp mechanism 20, the rotation of the hanger 1 is stopped and, at the same time, the mechanism 20 advances to clamp the rack 4. In the next step, a pawl detecting mechanism 30 advances and a pawl detecting terminal 37 horizontally arranged to the front surface thereof is allowed to position in the outside of the pawls 6, 7 during clamping and raised over a predetermined distance to bend the pawl 7 upwardly. Along with this operation, a current is supplied to the current supply part mounted to the contact part of the detection terminal 37 with the pawls 6, 7 to inspect the presence and absence of the contact of the pawl 7 with the detection terminal 37 and, in the next step, the detection terminal 37 is lowered over a predetermined distance to bend the pawl 6 to similarly perform inspection. |
