PURPOSE:To make a large sized work machinable in a highly accurate manner, by constituting a device so as to make it shiftable along upper and lower transfer beams in two stages toward a clamped work body, in case of a large sized wire-cut electric discharge machining device. CONSTITUTION:Track beams 4, 4, and 4', 4' are all installed two stages, upper and lower, and parallelled with each other, while rails 5, 5 and 5', 5' running parallel are attached to each of these rails. Transfer beams 6 and 6 are installed in a vertical direction toward these beams 4, 4 and 4', 4' and paralleled with each other. With this constitution, a wire feed car 11 and a wire recovery car 11' are travelable in an X direction along a guide rail 6a or 6'a. In addition, machining heads 14 and 14', machining solution feed tanks 15 and 15' and high pressure pumps 16 and 16' are all installed in each of these feed and recovery cars 11 and 11'. With this constitution, a large-sized work is made to be machinable in a highly accurate manner. |
