The invention relates to a device for the safe removal of branches and twigs from trees and bushes. The device is used as an accessory (adaptor) on already existing oscillating drive machines of compass saws and hedge clippers of any make. To connect the adaptor part, only the oscillating drive part on the hedge clippers is used, all other clipper parts are used completely covered or modified by adaptor. The desired inventive idea is thus achieved to obtain an inexpensive disbranching saw by using existing expensive drive machines. <IMAGE>
