[Also in Division F1] A burner for oil or gaseous fuel has combustion air provided by a transverse blower whose guide plate 51 diverges from intake away from impeller grid and transmutes into a spiral shape the angle a between the tangent at the start of the guide plate and the tangent at the part of the guide plate limiting the outlet area being less than 90 degrees and the air current deflector 52 consists of two arms 52a, 52b forming an angle y between 10 and 60 degrees. The blower has an impeller 8 driven by an electric motor 3 and fuel is supplied to a nozzle 11 via a pump 4 and magnetic valve 6. Ignition is provided by an electrode 12 and a photo-cell 13 supervises the flame. Air from the blower is guided around the burner nozzle by vanes 15. |
