PURPOSE:To make improvements in working efficiency, by measuring the size of work without removing it form a machining table, while constituting a device so as to make the specified operation preceedable as correcting machining size errors, in case of a wire-cut electric discharge machining device. CONSTITUTION:A measuring device 20 corresponding to a work 8 on a machining table 19 comprises a measuring feeler needle 24 and an O-point adjusting knob 25 to adjust an O-point for measurement. Next, in the case where the feeler needle 24 produces a large 'slip' against the work 18 in time of measurement, the feeler needle 24 is shifted up to a point nearby a machining surface, then minute motion is adjusted with the knob 25 rotated and a dial gauge 23 watched. Doing like this, after making the feeler needle 24 contact with the machining surface, the feeler needle 24 performs the measurement while shifting the machining surface in order by a command of a NC tape inside a numerically controlled table 16. With this constitution, working efficiency is remarkably improvable. |
