Ventilation device with an air duct

A ventilation device has an air duct (13) which has a change of direction in at least one place. In the region of this change of direction lies a fan (41) which has a fan wheel (37') which is designed as the impeller of a radial fan and which is driven by an electric motor (35) and has on the inflow side a stationary inflow nozzle (34) but not the spiral guide housing on the outlet side, which is otherwise usual in radial fans. The whole of electric motor (35), inflow nozzle (34) and fan wheel (37') is pivotable (39) by 180 DEG in the air duct (13) in order to be able to reverse the flow direction in the air duct as required.
