PURPOSE:To improve the quality of pictures by making either a single recording head or a multi-recording head which melts ink by heat generation from adjoining electrodes arranged in a row. CONSTITUTION:Recording electrodes 21 are arranged in one row on a base plate 22. A pitch of recording electrodes 21 is determined 0.1-0.5mm. corresponding to the sizes of pictures. An electric current passes between adjoining electrodes i.e. from 21b to 21a or from 21b to 21c via heat generation sheet. The electric current between recording electrodes is controlled by time division circuit. The contact dimension between recording electrode and heat generation sheet is kept diminutive, resulting in a good contact, less fluctuation of dots and elimination of the void. Thus, the quality of picture is improved. |
