PURPOSE:A binder for powder, consisting of a water-soluble diene based polymer, having improved binding power for the powder, capable of giving molded articles having improved flexibility, and useful for the molded articles produced from the powder, e.g. ceramic molded articles, etc. CONSTITUTION:A binder for resin obtained by using a modified diene based polymer prepared by preferably adding (B) preferably 10-30mol, based on 100 monomeric units of a component (A), maleic anhydride or a derivative thereof to (A) the diene based polymer (having preferably 10,000-50,000mol.wt. such as polyisoprene), and reacting (C) a basic compound, e.g. a monoamine, with the resultant addition product as a water-soluble diene based polymer. Ceramic particles, etc. are preferred as the powder. |
