1,102,915. Actuation of switches. DUNKERMOTOREN PR€ZISIONS - KLEINSTMOTOREN-G.m.b.H. 22 Sept., 1965 [20 Oct., 1964], No. 40324/65. Heading HlN. An electric motor drive arrangement comprising a motor 1 structurally combined with a limit switch (2, Fig. 1, not shown), at one end and a casing 4, at the other end, containing reduction gearing (3) with screw-and-nut operation of a rod 5 slidable in a hollow securing bolt of motor 1 to actuate switch (2), has a two-armed lever 13 pivoted on the outside of casing 4 such that when one arm 13a of the lever is deflected by movement of apparatus (for example, a venetian blind) driven by the motor, the other arm 13b, which extends into the casing 4, acts on the sliding rod 5 to stop the motor. The rod 5 carries two abutments 6 and 7, and a non-rotating nut 11 on a threaded shaft 9 acts on abutment 6 to provide one limit, while the lever arm 13b acts on abutment 7 to provide the other limit. In a modification (Fig. 3, not shown), the abutment 7 is acted on by a lever 14 wholly inside the casing 4 when a sensing rod 15, pivoted to the lever and extending out of the casing 4, is moved by the driven apparatus. The motor is provided with a sliding armature brake.
|
