The present invention relates to a multi-layer film comprising at least three layers of two outer layers and an intermediate layer sandwiched therebetween wherein the intermediate layer is formed of a resin composition of a high density polyethylene and an ethylene alpha -olefin copolymer, and the outer layers are formed of an ethylene alpha -olefin copolymer and at least one of the outer layers is formed of a resin composition of an ethylene alpha -olefin copolymer and a low density polyethylene. The object of the present invention is to provide a multi-layer film having a high mechanical strength and superior in properties such as heat sealability, anti-blocking, and suitability for automatic packaging.
