摘要 The choke- with a ring-shaped core (1) made of highly permeable material such as ferrite- has two windings (2), opposite each other. The stray inductance is affected by a spoke shaped magnetic by-pass for the lines of force inside the core. This by-pass can be made of ferrite, having suitable magnetic properties. It may be made an iron powder material. The by-pass can extend across the centre, with one or two air gaps separating it from the inside of the ring. The damping zone for low frequencies can be increased by the use of X capacitors. ADVANTAGE - High stray inductivity and reduced symmetrical distortion without altering the impedance of the windings.
