The invention relates to a device for dressing preferably double-conical abrasive wheels. The device, designed with two numerically controlled axes, is provided with a rotatable and positionable drive on which can be mounted exchangeable dressing heads provided with cooling channels. By means of the device it is possible to achieve different dressing conditions, so that optimum adaptation to the respective working task is possible. Manual adjustment and setting of the dressing device to different production tasks is unnecessary. The service life of the dressing tools is increased by controlled feeding of the coolant. <IMAGE>
