The goods label has a receiver (1) which supplies a wireless signal coming from a transmitter to a microprocessor (2). The signal is then supplied, after processing, to a display panel (3) where it can be read. The advantage is that the goods label can be changed quickly, for example for the purpose of changing the price during sales. The label can also be used for accounting purposes, since the data can both be read optically and can be picked off via a contract strip (7).
