The collapsible clothes-hanger comprises the hanger hook (1), which merges into a flat core piece (2), and two identical hanger arms (3a, 3b), which each merge at their inner end into a sheet-like hinge lug (4). These sheet-like parts, lying one on top of the other, have a rotary peg (7) passed through them. Integrally formed on the core piece (2) is a rib (15) which is in the form of a sector of a circle and, in the opened-out state of the two hanger arms (3a, 3b), is grasped on both sides by an identically formed groove (16) in the hinge lug (4) of the relevant hanger arm in order, in this way, to form loadable stop means for the hanger arms. A collapsible clothes-hanger designed in this manner is distinguished in particular by an elegant design which is composed of few parts, can be easily manufactured and satisfies all requirements to be made of it. <IMAGE>
