<p>PURPOSE:A recording liquid, containing C.I. Food Black 2 and a blue dye having high solubility and solution stability for a long term without clogging extrusion orifices, assuming black and blue-black elementary colors, and useful for ink jet recording and writing utensils. CONSTITUTION:A recording liquid consisting of a liquid composition containing (A) C.I. Black 2 and (B) one or more selected from the group of blue dyes preferably C.I. Acid Blue 9, 13, 68, 69, 138, 185, 249 or 258 and C.I. Direct Blue 83, 86, 87, 95, 149, 166, 176 or 199 together as a water-soluble dye as a recording agent. Preferably, the mixing weight ratio of the dyes (A) to (B) is (10:1)-(1:10), and the total amount of the dyes (A) and (B) in the recording liquid is 1- 10wt%. EFFECT:Improved light resistance.</p> |
