<p>PURPOSE:To enable a titled device to expand and shrink a picture without losing reproducibility made by dither processing by expanding and shrinking at the prescribed area unit of the picture. CONSTITUTION:It is judged whether or not 4-line (4 bits) processing is ended in the vertical direction (vertical lens direction) at a step 121, and when the processing is not ended they are shifted to a step 126. When 4-line processing is ended at the step 121, they are shifted to the step 126, and it is judged whether or not the flag FLG is set to ''0''. When the flag is not set to ''0'', it is set to ''0'' at a step 125. When the flag is set to ''0'', they are shifted to a step 123. The value of a P register 8 is divided from the value of an S address register 6 with an adder and divider 7 and is set to the S address register 6 again. At the step 123, the operation is repeated 3 times. By the operation, data of a rectangular area 2 is used for expansion 2 times per 4 lines.</p> |
