The object of the invention is to provide a cigarette dispenser for the storage of cigarettes which, by actuation of the cigarette dispenser, are individually and successively brought into a particular presentation position. This is achieved, according to the invention, by an approximately cylindrical container having a removal aperture in the head wall of the container which is close to the edge and, in its size, corresponds approximately to the thickness of a cigarette, and having an approximately U-shaped ejector clip, one leg of which is forcibly guided in a perforation in the bottom cover and the other leg of which is forcibly guided to engage around a support rod extending coaxially in the container and serving as a counter-bearing for a resilient helical spring attached thereto, which, with its free end, grips the last of a plurality of cigarettes extending parallel and coaxially on the inside of the container and pushes it towards the removal aperture. <IMAGE>
