The invention relates to an automatic pressure control valve with a housing which has a spring space, a valve space divided into two zones, and three connection pieces 15, 16, 17. The first connection piece 15 is assigned to the first zone 13 of the valve space while the second and third connection piece 16, 17 are connected to the second zone 14 of the valve space. Arranged between the first and second zone 13, 14 of the valve space is a first valve member, which interacts with a valve seat 12 and can be loaded in accordance with a desired working pressure via a first, preloadable spring 25 arranged in the spring space. In order to achieve a specific setting of the nominal value which is independent of external influences, both for the pressure build-up and the pressure reduction function, the loading of the first valve member 19 by the first spring 25 is directed away from the valve seat 12 and there is a first bellows 31 between the first valve member 19 and the housing 7. In the second zone 14 of the valve space there is a second valve member 20, which interacts with a valve seat 18 assigned to the third connection piece 17 and which can be loaded towards its valve seat, in accordance with the desired working pressure via a second preloadable spring 26 situated in the spring space.
