The ground-working appliance consists of a levelling rail (9) having a central rail reinforcement (6, 7, 8) which terminates in three bearing points (8, 10') and which can be mounted on the front three-point lifting hydraulics (2, 3, 4, 4', 5, 10) of a farm tractor (1). The unevenness of the ground is levelled, during the advance, as early as ahead of the front wheels (1') of the tractor, with the result that the tractor (1) and tractor driver are subjected to less stress. The levelling rail (9) is arranged transversely to the tractor axis and is approximately as wide as the other soil-working appliances, such as harrows, drilling rollers, etc., mounted on the rear lifting hydraulics. <IMAGE>
