<p>PURPOSE:To make it sufficient to look at the character outputted only when the operator's recognition is uncertain by constructing a device so as to generate respectively different sounds by the extent of the recognition of the inputted character. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 decides by a TAB control part TC 4 and a pen control part PC 6 whether or not the character is written in a tablet TAB 5 and when the CPU 1 decides that the character is written, the CPU 1 processes the recognizing of the character. As the result of the recognition processing, when a similar character is not at other tablet and only one character can be recognized, a loud-ringing is generated through a speaker SP 10 by a sound generating part 8, it is informed that the recognition of the input character is executed without fail and a character code is stored to a RAM 3. When the similar characters are six pieces or below, the intermediate sound is generated at the SP 10 from the generating device 8, it is informed that the a little uncertain recognition is obtained, and the recognized character is displayed by a displaying device 11 and the desired character is selected. When the similar characters are six pieces or above, a silence occurs, it is informed that the uncertain recognition is obtained and the character is displayed at the displaying device. After the desired character is selected, the character is stored in the RAM 3.</p> |
