PURPOSE:To select hue accurately, by providing the first light receiving sensor on a light transmitting path of a half mirror facing the light emitting surface of a light emitting element, and providing a sharp cutting filter and the second light receiving sensor on a reflecting light path. CONSTITUTION:In a hue selecting device, a first light receiving sensor 8 is provided on a light transmitting path 6 of a half mirror 4 facing the light emitting surface of a light emitting element 2. A sharp cutting filter 12 corresponding to the hue to be selected and a second light receiving sensor 14 are provided on a light reflecting path 10 of the half mirror 4. The spectral luminous efficiencies of the first and second light receiving sensors 8 and 14 are corrected. A filter is provided in front of the second sensor 14. When delicate difference in hue is present in the light emitting element 2, large amount of difference in detected output is yielded, and resolution is largely improved. The value agrees with the value measured by the human eye, and the hue can be selected accurately and quickly. |
