<p>PURPOSE:To enable to return automatically to a stop position when power source is turned on even if the position is at any operation mode when the power source is released by using a device that detects the stop position. CONSTITUTION:A switch 32 for detecting stop position that becomes on when stop state and becomes off in the state of sound recording and reproduction and in the state of cue/review is attached to a tape recorder provided with a movable member, a driving device and a holding device. The switch 32 is made off when in cue/review position at the time of releasing of power source. When the power source switch 34 is made on, a pulse generating circuit 37 generates pulse for driving a solenoid, and an AND circuit 38 outputs the pulse to drive the solenoid for a fixed time, and returns to the stop position by releasing the solenoid. When it is at the stop position, the switch 34 is made on, and does not become output of the AND circuit 38 and remains at the stop position. Thus, initial state can be set always at the stop position after the power source is turned on.</p> |
