CONTINUOUS ROLLING MILL WITH CROSSED STANDS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SEAMLESS TUBES

摘要

A continuous rolling mill with crossed stands is described in which the working rolls and the respective roll chocks of each stand are united to form a unit which can be displaced individually in a direction parallel to the axes of rotation of the said rolls. During changing of the rolls, a thrust member expels the said unit from the stand, displacing it on rails with which the stand is provided.
