PURPOSE:To eliminate track deviation by detecting the temperature around a disk by a sensor, setting and storing a track deviation correction amount of a head corresponding to each temperature, and turning and displacing a stepping motor according to the correction corresponding to detected temperature information. CONSTITUTION:A rotation direction signal of a stepping motor 4, a rotation step signal and a head indication signal are inputted from a controller through an input terminal, and supplied to a CPU12. The detection signal of a temperature sensor 13 near the disk is supplied to an A/d converter 14, converted to a digital value and supplied to the CPU12. The CPU12 generates controlling signals responding to these signals and supplies them to an exciting circuit 16 and a current ratio variable circuit 17. Responding to the controlling signal, the exciting circuit 16 grounds an end of two adjoining exciting coils out of exciting coils 4a-4d, and the current from a power source terminal 18 is supplied through the current ratio variable circuit 17, and the stepping motor 4 is turned and displaced. Accordingly, even when each part expands or contracts due to the change of temperature, the stepping motor is turned and displaced correspondingly, and the track deviation of the head is corrected and correct tracking is performed. |
