PURPOSE:To perform adjustment easily for center deviation and azimuth deviation by forming an adjusting long groove for center deviation and an adjusting long groove for azimuth deviation in a head carriage and forming circular holes in positions corresponding to these adjusting long grooves in a head holder and inserting adjusting jigs to corresponding circular holes and long grooves and turning jigs. CONSTITUTION:Adjusting jigs 86 and 86 are inserted to circular holes 78 and 80 of a head holder 74, an adjusting long groove 70 for center deviation, and an adjusting long groove 72 for azimuth deviation. In this case, eccentric pins 90 are placed in long grooves 70 and 72, and shaft bodies 88 are placed in circular holes 78 and 80. When the adjusting jig 86 placed in the adjusting long groove 70 for center deviation is turned in this state, the head holder 74 is moved in the direction of an arrow B because the pin 90 is eccentric, and thus, the magnetic head is adjusted for center deviation. When the adjusting jig 86 placed in the adjusting long groove 72 for azimuth deviation is turned in the similar state, the head holder 74 is moved in the direction of an arrow C, and thus, the magnetic head is adjusted for azimuth deviation. |
