PURPOSE:To make it possible to simply adjust the scattering in the air-fuel ratio of carburetors as thet are manufactured by adjusting an air flow to bypass the venturi of the carburetor. CONSTITUTION:An air passage 7 is provided for air to bypass a large venturi 3 set around a small venturi 4 having a main nozzle 6, and a valve 10 at the tip of an adjusting screw which is adjustable from outside of a carburetor, is set up in the air passage 7. When a carburetor is manufactured, an inspection is performed to verify that a prescribed amount of fuel is supplied for a prescribed air flow rate, and, if any error is found with respect to the prescribed values, a correction is made by controlling the air flow bypassing the venturi by means of turning a screw 9. Thus the adjustment can be easily made. |
