PURPOSE:To eliminate an unexpected start of moving of a machine even when a driver puts his foot off a pedal, thereby ensuring safety, by providing a moving member, which makes reciprocal motion according to depressing or releasing of the pedal, and setting up a locking mechanism between this moving member and a machine frame. CONSTITUTION:A clutch 11 is constructed in such a way that a transmission belt 14 is wrapped round the driving pulley 12 of an engine and the driven pulley 13 of a mission case, and a tension pulley 15 is provided so as to tense or slacken the belt 14. A pedal 17 is pivotally mounted on a machine frame 2 in a freely rotatable manner. Depressing the pedal 17 gives the clutch a disconnection, while releasing the pedal 17 a connection. A moving member 22, which is integrated into one body with an installation frame 24, is fitted by insersion to a shaft 23 in a freely movable manner in the fore-and-aft direction, while a revolving lever 25 is pivotally mounted on the installation frame 24 by a pin 27 in a freely rotatable manner. A cam groove 28 is made on a cam plate 29 fixed to the machine frame 2, while a cam-follower 26 is put into the groove 28. If depressing of the pedal 17 is suspended while the cam-follower 26 is at the rear peak point, the clutch 11 is kept in the state of disconnection. |
