PURPOSE:To enable to improve efficiency of nozzle governing operation by dividing a steam chamber of a steam turbine into a plural chambers and making the largest one circular covering all the circumference of a nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A steam chamber 9 which supplies steam to first step nozzles 21a and 21b of a steam turbine is divided into a plural chambers 9a and 9b so as to have an unbalanced opening ratio, and the largest chamber 9a is formed circular covering all the circumference of the nozzle. Thus, the steam which flows in the chamber 9a flows uniformly toward an opening portion of the nozzle and there is no drift, thereby efficiency of nozzle governing operation is improved. |
